About Centeris Paribus
“Centeris Paribus” is a project founded by a group of high school students in Hanoi, aiming to help students gather economic insights in a more accessible and practical way.
Specifically, the project develops and provides learning materials for the Economics subject of the Cambridge International A Level system. We – the project team – are currently studying A Level and have the most experience in conveying economic insights.
Centeris Paribus believes that with a simple, easy-to-understand, yet academically accurate and up-to-date approach to knowledge transmission, complex economic terminology will no longer be a source of fear for students.

Our name
What does Centeris Paribus mean?
“Centeris Paribus” is inspired by the phrase “Ceteris Paribus,” a popular phrase in the world of Economics meaning “all else equal”— all other factors must remain unchanged when considering one specific change.
The word “Ceteris” becomes “Centeris,” which sounds quite similar to “center.” Combined, “Centeris Paribus” is like a “bus,” departing from a single point, the center of the world—where everyone, regardless of their starting point, meets up and begins their journey.
Imagine yourself sitting on a bus, opening the window, and observing the changes in the global economy, watching the economic trends of each country. Immerse yourself in the world of economics, and don't worry, because “all else equal”—other factors in life will remain unchanged; only your economic knowledge will improve day by day.
